JFETs, MESFETs
Reading: Sze chapter 7 or Singh chapter 8. For MESFETs see: Thuselt 6.2 and 6.7
For the exam:
- Be able to describe the operation principle of JFETs and MESFETs.
- Know how to calculate the pinch-off voltage.
- Be able to calculate the drain current for a JFET or MESFET. Know the what the linear regime and the saturation regimes are.
