The following applet displays the Brillouin zones for the fourteen Bravais lattices.

It is possible to rotate the drawing of the Brillouin zone with your mouse. The crystal structure can be selected from a pull-down menu at the top. The lattice constants and angles can be specified on the left. For some Bravais lattices, not all lattice constants and angles are editable since they are restricted by symmetry. After the parameters have been changed, the 'Draw' button should be clicked to redraw the Brillouin zone. If the 'Axes' box is checked, the k_x, k_y, k_z axes are drawn. If the 'RBV' box is checked, the reciprocal lattice vectors are drawn. If the 'Symmetery' box is checked the symmetry points and symmetry lines of the Brillouin zone are drawn.

This is an ongoing project to draw all of the Brillouin zones. The goal is to make a webpage for each Bravais lattice that specifies the symmetry points and symmetry lines similar to the webpage for fcc. The applets were written by Otto Scheibelhofer and Johannes Poms.
