Parametric equations in 3D

Parametric equations are used to describe the coordinates of a curve in terms of a parameter. In the examples below, this parameter is taken to be \(t\). This can be interpretted as the time. The parametric equations specify the coordinates \(x\), \(y\), and \(z\) at every time \(t\).

$x(t) = $

$y(t)= $

$z(t) = $

from $t=$ to $t = $
